Tarney Wes was a successful doctor on the Alliance core planet Bernadette. In a tragic hovercraft accident Tarney’s wife and children was killed. The doc didn’t take it well and ended up a bit muddled. He was quickly shuttled off to a bughouse run by religious types. It was there that he found religion, and put his life back in order.

He joined up with those monks that ran that place, and learned their ways. Once he was versed in their dealin’s he set off to far off worlds to help those with needs far greater than his own.

He ended up in a small farming town on the dry side of Whitefall, where he would end up bein’ the savin’ grace followin’ a Reaver attack. He patched up those that remained, and noticed that these men that came most close to a horrible end had lost a parcel of faith. As strange a group as they would become, Tarney became the cornerstone to their sanity, and he was proud to hold company with those folk, even though in the end they were hell bent on bringin’ and end to those that brought them pain.
